Australian Standards for the Export of Livestock (ASEL) 2023 Review

The Australian Alliance for Animals has contributed to the public consultation on the 2023 update of the Australian Standards for the Export of Livestock (ASEL). The ASEL outline the minimum animal health and welfare conditions to export livestock. 

In our submission below, the Alliance puts forward a number of recommendations for stronger regulatory requirements for animal welfare.
